Since its inception in 1989, China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT) has been held every single year, and has been successfully held 16 sessions. CIMT is the most well-known, largest and most influential professional machine tool exhibition in China. It is recognized by the international industry and the European EMO, the United States IMTS, Japan JIMTOF, one of the four international machine tool exhibition can not be missed. With the continuous improvement of the international status and influence of CIMT exhibition, it has become an important place for international advanced manufacturing technology exchange and trade, a display platform for the latest achievements of modern equipment manufacturing technology, and a vane and barometer of China's mechanical manufacturing technology progress and the development of machine tool industry. CIMT exhibition brings together the world's most advanced and applicable machine tool products for domestic buyers and users, it is an international investigation without going abroad. The 16th China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT2019) was held in Beijing • China International Exhibition Center (New Hall) from April 15 to 20, 2019. The theme of the exhibition is "Integration and win-win wisdom for the future". The well-known enterprises and brands of the global machine tool manufacturing industry all showed their strong lineup at the exhibition. A total of 1,712 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, including 874 overseas exhibitors and 838 domestic exhibitors, each accounting for about 50% of the exhibition area. Industry organizations and trade promotion organizations from 13 countries and regions, including the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Taiwan and Hong Kong, participated in the exhibition, occupying all 8 pavilions in the exhibition center, as well as 4 temporary pavilions on the east side of the exhibition center and 2 temporary pavilions on the west side of the exhibition center. The total exhibition area reached 142,000 square meters, an increase of 8.4% over the previous session. During the exhibition, 62 institutions such as the exhibition organizers, national machine tool associations, exhibitors, and institutes organized 105 forums, conferences and technical exchange activities. The 6-day exhibition attracted 139,079 professional visitors from 81 countries and regions to visit, with a total of 319,371 people. The level of exhibits and the coverage of varieties and specifications of the exhibition are innovative. Tens of thousands of exhibits include the main product categories of the industrial chain such as host, functional components, numerical control systems, measuring instruments, machine tools, electrical appliances, cutting tools and accessories. Among them, many of the latest products of "China debut", "Asia debut" and "global debut" make visitors dizzying, providing the most extensive choice space for the majority of buyers.
